The "Battle of the Books" was a great experience this year, not only for the participating students from grades 3 to 8, but their parents also. GET A HEAD START FOR NEXT YEAR. Here is a list of the Sunshine State Books 2013-2014 for the Middle and Elementary grades. They are all AR books! You can get your AR points plus be eligible for SSYRA voting and the Battle of the Books if you meet the requirements. We should have all these books in the library before the end of the school year. The St. Helen Catholic School student council officers recently led the Mission Madness drive during Lent. All students in grades K-8 were asked to participate. 418 canned goods AND 714 toiletry items were collected and donated to the St. Helen Neighborhood Apostolate Office. 390 school supplies were collected and will be hand-delivered to children of migrant workers at Hope Rural School in Indiantown. 213 baby supply items were donated to local moms in need.
